The body appears to be constrained within a technical grid – shielded and protected at the head, mapped and depicted in detail across the body. Physical presence becomes the interface between a vulnerable organism on the one hand and an energetic system on the other. The body bears traces of destruction – the grid and the skin are damaged. The power lines surrounding it are faulty. Visibility is defined here not as control, but as a system susceptible to injury, in both a physical and a technical sense.
